Annette Hug
She used to work as a Co-director in the House of Literature, Gottlieben (2002 - 2009), a Lecturer in Community Development at University of Applied Sciences and arts of Central Switzerland(1995 - 2001), and Fundraising officer for two subsequent development agencies based in Switzerland.
She has published 3 novels, short stories and essays in magazines. She has won Swiss Literary Award bestowed by the Federal Ministry of Culture, Switzerland(2017), Grant by the City of Zurich, Cultural Department (2016), Grant by the Robert Bosch Stiftung. Germany, to spend one month doing research in Hong Kong(2016), Grant by the Canton (Province) of Zurich, Cultural Department(2010), and a participant at the authors’ workshop “textwerk”, Munich, Germany(2000), and a participant at the authors' workshop "Literaturkurs", Robert Musil Haus, Klagenfurt, Austria.
